For canal boat hire on the Kennet & Avon Canal,
Devizes, Wiltshire.
We are a family run canal boat hire business established in 1986
operating self-drive narrow boat hire for holidays on the Kennet &
Avon canal from Devizes Wharf.
 Many
of our customers appreciate our high levels of service so much that
they return year after year to experience at leisure the delights of
hiring a narrow boat on the Kennet & Avon canal. When you hire our
narrowboats you can meander through the beautiful Pewsey Vale, in
the heart of rural Wiltshire, through the Savernake Tunnel and past
the Crofton beam Engines towards Hungerford and Newbury eastwards or
you can navigate westwards via Claverton Pumping Station and
Bradford-on-Avon to the city of Bath.
Our narrow boat canal holidays are based at Devizes
Wharf at the top of the famous Caen Hill flight of 29 locks but you
can still take a lock free break if you cruise to Wootton Rivers and
back on a two-day escape from the rush of modern life. There are
plenty of Inns to dine at and interesting countryside, including the
White Horse at Alton Barnes, to visit.
Our Narrowboat hire canal holidays for 2 – 6 people are taken aboard
Moonraker, Moonfleet and Moonshine, which have all been fitted out
to a high standard by us. They all have the necessary facilities
that make for a pleasurable boating experience. Moonshine is our
newest boat at 56’ sleeping up to 6 people was added to our fleet in
2009. We pride ourselves in ensuring that our boats are maintained
to a high standard and welcome prospective customers to view the
boats prior to booking their holiday. We are a member of the British
Marine Federations Hire Boat Handover Scheme.
